March 1

Pavel surprised me by taking me to a new restaurant that had been much talked about lately. After a rather mediocre lunch, I decided to return the favour and took him to a recently opened driving simulator centre^{Fig 21–22} next to the local urban planning disaster ^{Fig 23}.

March 2

Met with Gera and Alexandra at a sunny café ^{Fig 16} , then drifted through Jeżyce ^{Fig 4–8} until we encountered the situation with the decapitated pigeon.

March 3

Marina arrived in Poznań ^{Fig 11–12}. Another stage in establishing the Gray Mandorla Foundation: we discussed the next steps. After work, we drank blue tea at Raman's ^{Fig 9–10}.

March 4–6

Several days in a row revolved around the Dostlevs' studio. After meeting with the curators, I stopped by to see the work on Lia's new video ^{Fig 17/19–20}. Filming a New Year's feast and dances with friends wearing masks continued over several days.

March 7–8

We went to Sławek's summer house ^{Fig 1–2}. . Surrounded by enormous spruces and pines, it resembled a forest more than a typical allotment garden. It was especially difficult to believe that all of this was only a little over forty years old. Once, there had been nothing here but a wasteland.

The weather was unusually spring-like. Before we left, Sławek handed us a spare set of keys and suggested we use the place as if it were our own.

Afterwards we drove to another summer house, where Tasha Katsuba, Gera and Denis joined us ^{Fig 3/13–15/18}. The first truly warm picnic of the year, wrapped in wood smoke.

The following day was spent preparing for the trip to France.

Сороколетний сад

1 марта

Павел в качестве сюрприза отвёл в новый ресторан, о котором в последнее время много говорили. После неважного обеда я решил ответить и отвёл его в недавно открывшийся центр автосимуляторов рядом с катастрофой местного градостроения.

2 марта

Встретились с Герой и Александрой в солнечном кафе, затем дрейфовали по Ежицам до ситуации с обезглавленом голубем.

3 марта

В Познань приехала Марина. Очередныой этап создания фонда Gray Mandorla, обсуждали дальнейшие шаги. После работы пили голубой чай у Рамана.

4–6 марта

Несколько дней подряд были связаны со студией Достлевых. После встречи с кураторами я зашёл посмотреть на работу над новым видео Лии. Съёмки новогодней трапезы и танцев с друзьями в масках продолжались несколько дней.

7–8 марта

Поехали к Славку на дачу. Среди огромных елей и сосен она больше напоминала лес, чем привычный садовый участок. Особенно трудно было поверить, что всему этому чуть больше сорока лет. Когда-то здесь зиял пустырь!

Погода стояла анамально весенняя. Перед отъездом Славек передал запасные ключи и предложил пользоваться дачей как собственной. После этого мы уехали на другую дачу, куда приехали Таша Кацуба, Гера и Денис. Первый по-настоящему тёплый окутанный дымом пикник года. Далее день в подготовке поездки во Францию.
