We photographed the objects in the studio with Alexey. After lunch at home he, already tired, lay down for an hour to nap on the sofa while I worked on the website. Alexey feels cozy sleeping in our apartment to the sound of the keyboard Fig 24. This is not the first time.
In the evening we decided to carry out our annual ritual: a winter drift for two with forty-degree “mercy shots” through cold, empty Poznań. Earlier, on such outings, we constantly interrupted each other, pointing at findings, but now more and more we fall silent, understanding that we are looking at the same things and making synchronous discoveries.
This time it was completely windless, and after extremely cold days everything was covered by dense fog, the snow seemed to move into the air and hang there without settling. During such walks we, with greed and increased concentration on searching for details, wander through backstreets we hadn’t entered before, and find small things we would usually pass by. One of the catches was a “Minsk” courtyard, almost impossible for Poznań, with a Stalinist Empire-vampire in the form of a huge arch Fig 18, with this heavy classicism and an opening several floors high, into which a cyclops could walk without bending.
Further we came across a shop window behind which Catholic readings of the Gospel in VR headsets were taking place Fig 11/13. Religion and new technologies. And then fluorescent crosses began to appear more and more often Fig 14–15. Alexey noticed his favorite number 47 Fig 9/12, somehow nicely written on a wall. And then, since a religious vibe had already started, we went up the hill of Saint Adalbert to the churches Fig 10. There the fog was more transparent. I found thorn branches and made a small spiky bundle for Alexey Fig 3.
I decided to show Alexey a curious entrance hall where you can sharply pull the door and it will open. By that time already very cold, we went inside to warm up and to photograph the naively, and because of that cute, painted marble texture on the walls, and on them everywhere mandorlas Fig 6–7. The fog stayed on the clothes and in the hair, and seems to have entered the bones.

Again I got magnetized to Alexey, this time I came to his apartment Fig 16–17. Olga Maslovskaya was already there, having arrived three minutes earlier.
In Alexey’s room there is permanent order: everything strictly in its place, object-gadgets Fig 25, socks laid with unprecedented neatness inside a pull-out cabinet, books and collection. Those same thorns found the day before are already shortened and carefully tied into a bundle on one of the altar compositions, next to small crystal and ceramic animals (where did the glass unicorn go?) Fig 21.
We flipped through books and albums, did fortune-telling with them Fig 19. We talked about how Olga again, for the nth time this month, gets into awkward situations because of her empathy.
I was leaving through the fog, which was still holding. Through the branches a red clock face was breaking through, along the river lamps stretched, and because of the moisture in the air their rhythm was clearly outlined Fig 1–2/4–5.

The not-leaving fog, cold and dampness pressed a chilled group into the studio. After warming gatherings, having made a symbolic closing of the exhibition about family in our studio, Zhora and I decided to give Dura a tour of Dark Angels Fig 22–23. It turned out that Dura (despite sex work) had not been in Dark Angels nor in Pakusa, and so after the shoot in the darkroom on Garbary they both went to the trashy Pakusa, where they, with adventures, stayed until six in the morning.
